SECURITY UPDATE

Passcode for e-Transfer Recipient Verification

Effective Date: January 24th, 2024

AnyDay’s taking security up a notch! Our Canadian members using the AnyDay Financial App or Member Portal will now need to enter in a Passcode when adding or editing an e-Transfer recipient. It's like adding a secret handshake to make sure your money moves are top-notch secure! 🤝

🙋 What does this change mean for me?

  • Beginning today, when you login to your AnyDay app you will be prompted to ‘Secure Account Access’ and begin the Passcode setup!
  • Whenever you add or edit an e-Transfer Recipient, you will now be prompted to enter your Passcode for verification.

📲 What are the steps?

  • Once you have updated to the latest version of the AnyDay app, you will see a prompt to Create a Passcode.
  • Next, enter a 6-digit Passcode. Note: the following entries are not acceptable for Passcodes and the Member will be prompted to enter a more secure Passcode: 123456, 654321, or any repetitive numbers (example:111111, 999999, 666666)
  • You will then be promopted to confirm the Passcode.
  • Once you have successfully set your Passcode, you will see this a pop-up asking to save a Recovery Code.  This Recovery Code will be needed in case you forget your Passcode and need to reset it yourself in the Member Portal!
  • Moving forward, whenever you are adding or editing an e-Transfer Recipient, you will now be prompted to enter their Passcode for verification.
  • If you've forgotten your Passcode, you can reset it using the 'Forgot my Passcode' option. You will need your Recovery Code to be able to reset. If you use your Recovery Code to reset a forgotten Passcode, you will be given a new Recovery Code that you will have to save & remember.
  • If you enter an incorrect Passcode 3 times, your card will be locked. You & your employer both will be unable to unlock your card to reset your Passcode — you will need to get in touch with AnyDay's Customer Service team to make any changes: support@paidanyday.com / 647-424-0335

Next time you’re worried about the latest phishing scam, remember: AnyDay’s got you covered. Simply keep your Passcode in mind & you’ll be ready to move your money! 🌟
